Do not get your skates fixed here. These pictures are after 1 single game. I went and got new blades and holders which isn’t cheap and this is what I get, already falling apart. I will be going elsewhere to get them fixed again because I do not trust this store to do a good job.

I love this store but people only read the lower reviews. be careful who u get as a sales some are very knowledgeable some are not so if u dont know what size you need you could be buying the wrong stuff. Yes you can just return it. One sale person sold my friends son whos 9 a pair of hockey gloves for a 3 year old lol 😂 kinda funny i wouldnt sharpen my skates here either not my kind of sharpen and yes it matters

We've had quite a few 10/10 visits so far, most staff members are very nice and helpful. They helped my kid find the right size skates and helmet. I thought his old skates were too small as my kid complained about them being tight, but then I brought him to store to measure, turn out those were still the right size but I wouldn't know otherwise (he might not have loosen the long shoelace). And they recommended not to buy size up in advance which also made sense. Then we had another visit to have all our skates sharpened, it was busy morning with a line up for sharpening but well organized with friendly staff, cost is $9.9+tax per pair, see price list photo for reference. Will definitely go back again when we need skates.

This is certainly the ultimate megastore with the widest selection of Hockey apparel, equipment and accessories. Been here twice this year and on both occasions managed to find the jersey I was looking for, while at the same moment was fascinated by all the merchandise on display.

This was only my 2nd time in a hockey store this big The staff was mostly made up of teens so I totally understand why things took a while to get done The service was great for the most part. Skates were fit well after adding insoles to them and then baked for a few minutes I also bought other gear with more helpful staff members they gave great advice on fitting shin guards and elbow pads There's also a cool shooting gallery where you can test out hockey sticks. The stick felt great but at 300 CAD + Tax you need to spend wisely If you're a hockey fan, beware because you WILL spend money here 😄 But if you are in serious need of replacing your old gear then it's a great place to purchase from Try dropping by on weekdays because the staff said it's less hectic at those times And based on my experience there are a TON of people on weekends I do wish staff was a little more attentive though but I get that the chaos of the weekend can be overwhelming for these kids Overall, I am elated with my experience at the storeI'm definitely going back one day

What a great experience I had here. Lots of selection and helpful staff. All the new sticks and some clearance items as well. Need your skates sharpened? Their staff are here to do it too. Lots is skate selection and sticks too. Thanks for your help!

This is such an amazing store it's been at Vaughan mills for a very very long time it's like one of the staple stores to visit for your hockey and skating needs. I remember going here to buy my first pairs of skates and the associates that helped me were very fine and handsome cough cough they helped me find the right pair of skates for amateur skater rounded up to 150 or so with proper gear and sizing and stuff stuff was cheaper back then. But anywho I recommend everyone to check this place out even with the knowledge you find online nothing bears asking someone with experience face to face.

Don’t go here unless you want non existent help from a teenager working part time and not caring about the outcome. I bought skates here and I regrettably just accepted whatever was told to me even though I knew more than the kid did. I was told there’s no difference between CCM, Bauer and even True, and I was also told there’s not a point to baking skates… anyways, two years later and I’m in the market for new skates because the 3x pros the kid sold me are horrible, hurt my feet, and are only like $200 skates now. Oh and I didn’t say anything at the time but the skates I got had a knicked/scratched out Bauer graphic.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and usually receive decent service, but I believe in giving credit where it’s due. Alessia has helped me on multiple occasions and always stands out. She’s genuine in conversation, polite, well-mannered, and incredibly helpful… Just today, I came in on 2 hours of sleep and could barely finish a sentence!! Alessia basically finished them for me lol… She kept everything on track with clear, patient communication.. It’s rare to find an employee who works so hard and stays fully engaged the entire time on the floor. Thank you, Alessia, for the rock-star service. Hard work like yours never goes unnoticed!!

I originally purchased a pair of True HZRDUS 5X skates from the store, but unfortunately experienced significant ankle discomfort after each game. When I called to see if anything could be done, the Skate Manager, Amal, was incredibly helpful and offered a warranty exchange. He allowed me to apply the full amount I had paid toward a new pair of skates that would better suit my needs. I stopped by just before closing, and despite the late hour, associates Chris and another skate specialist took the time to ensure I left with the right pair. Even after I said I was okay with the cheapest option, they patiently explained the differences in skate quality, construction, and long-term performance—emphasizing how the right investment can help prevent injuries down the line. I really appreciate the excellent service and expertise from the entire team. I’m looking forward using my new JetSpeeds in game!

Went here to grab a new hockey helmet, walked over to the cash about to check out when I thought I got one question, thankfully I did that cause I ran into an employee named Nathaniel, and he helped me tremendously, showed me all my options walked me through the pros and cons of all the top branded helmets really laid it out simple easy and effective, even went the extra mile to make sure all my questions were met with answers, ran through the whole store trying to help me, this guy needs a raise cause he is a hard worker, very knowledgeable, I hope if you go here you run into him, he’ll save you time and point you in the best direction there is!
